This role supports the Kinrise Snackfood portfolio which is home to our much-loved Cobs and Poppin popcorn brands!

About The Role.

As a Production Operator you will be responsible to produce high-quality popcorn products in accordance with the corresponding recipe and SOP.

This role requires someone with a high attention to detail, ability to strictly follow a process, and the capability to perform heavy manual tasks over the duration of a full shift. 

Production Operators are regularly required to lift and handle ingredient bags weighing up to 25kg at ground, waist, and shoulder height.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the production plan, paying attention to recipes & special instructions
• Maintain and complete production paperwork and data entry tasks into systems
• Picking, weighing & measuring ingredients
• Operating production machines
• Quality Control & Food Hygiene measures
• Ensure the dough mixers work area is regularly cleaned and maintained as per Good Manufacturing Practice housekeeping standards
• Conduct changeover and clean requirements as needed 

Skills/Competencies Required

• Previous experience operating food production machinery within a FMCG manufacturing industry is highly regarded
• Must have high attention to detail to ensure quality of our products is never compromised
• Physical strength and be capable of performing heavy lifting, repetitively.
• An understanding of food safety, GMP, BRC and HACCP requirements/standards.
• An understanding of OHS regulations and site safety requirements
• High attention to detail and ability to accurately complete documents for internal compliance.
• Ability to troubleshoot minor issues.
• Continuous learning mindset and ability to work as part of a team.
• Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills.
