Job Description:

Crowe’s Technology Advisory (Tech Advisory) practice is seeking an experienced NetSuite Solutions Architect to lead solution design across NetSuite ERP implementations in private equity-backed portfolio companies. This India-based role will partner closely with U.S.-based functional leads and engagement managers to architect robust, scalable solutions across all NetSuite core modules, industry-specific workflows, and integrations. This is a hands-on leadership role – while the architect will be responsible for functional configuration (e.g., workflows, saved searches, dashboards, roles/permissions), they will not be expected to write SuiteScript or develop custom code. However, they must possess a strong understanding of technical solution architecture, including how scripts, integrations, and custom records function, in order to collaborate effectively with developers and guide scalable solution design.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead NetSuite solution design across all core and advanced modules (Financials, Advanced Inventory, WMS, Advanced Manufacturing), ensuring business needs are met through scalable configuration and best-fit system architecture.
• Own functional configuration of NetSuite, including workflows, saved searches, dashboards, custom forms, roles, and permissions – without performing hands-on coding, but with a strong understanding of SuiteScript, Suitelets, and SuiteCloud architecture to guide technical teams effectively.
• Collaborate with integration leads to design and validate data flows and interface architecture between NetSuite and external systems, including field mapping, API methods (SuiteTalk/RESTlet), and middleware approaches (e.g., Celigo, Boomi).
• Evaluate and recommend solution approaches (standard vs. custom vs. SuiteApp) during design workshops and RTM reviews, balancing implementation speed, cost, and long-term maintainability.
• Support the development of Functional Design Documents (FDDs) and ensure alignment between functional requirements, system design, and technical specifications throughout the build lifecycle.
• Act as a solutioning lead during Design Phase, partnering with functional consultants to drive business process mapping, gap-fit assessments, and solution documentation aligned to PE-backed client scaling needs.
• Provide configuration oversight and quality assurance, reviewing proposed scripts, workflows, custom records, and data models for adherence to Crowe and NetSuite standards.
• Serve as a cross-functional escalation point for architecture or solution design decisions, ensuring technical feasibility and stakeholder alignment across workstreams.

Qualifications

• Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field
• NetSuite Certifications – Suite Foundations, Administrator and ERP Consultant required.

• Experience:

• 4+ years of NetSuite experience with a focus on solution design, module architecture, or technical oversight roles
• Prior experience in multi-entity, multi-currency, or fast-scaling environments
• Strong expertise across core modules (GL, AR/AP, Procurement, Inventory, Fulfillment, Manufacturing)
• Deep knowledge of NetSuite Advanced Modules: Advanced Inventory Management, Warehouse Management System (WMS), Advanced Manufacturing
• Understanding of NetSuite’s platform architecture including SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, and Suite Analytics

• Proficiencies:

• Ability to read, review, and advise on SuiteScript 2.x design patterns and SuiteCloud development best practices
• Familiarity with 3rd-party integration frameworks, connector platforms (e.g., Celigo, Boomi), and data mapping processes
• Experience using AI tools (e.g., prompt engineering, low-code development tools) is a plus
