Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Strategy & Leadership – Develop and drive event strategies aligned with company goals, ensuring exceptional experiences for attendees.
  • End-to-End Event Management – Oversee planning, budgeting, execution, and post-event analysis for conferences, summits, and large-scale activations.
  • Work Closely with the Head of Events – Support the development of a high-performing events team while collaborating cross-departmentally to ensure clear and concise communication and that the right processes are in place.
  • Stakeholder & Partnership Management – Work directly with C-level executives, high-profile speakers, and partners to create impactful events.
  • Venue & Supplier Management – Source and negotiate contracts with venues, catering, and key event suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Financial & Budget Control – Manage and optimise multi-million-dollar budgets, ensuring cost efficiencies and revenue growth.
  • On-Site Execution & Problem Solving – Take command on event days, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring a world-class attendee experience.
  • Process & Efficiency Improvement – Identify and implement streamlined event workflows, new tools, and best practices to improve efficiency and execution.
  • Innovation & Scalability – Help refine repeatable, scalable event processes that enhance attendee experience and operational effectiveness.

What You Bring:

✔️ 7+ years of experience in large-scale event management (500+ attendee conferences preferred)

✔️ Proven ability to execute events seamlessly and drive business impact

✔️ Strong negotiation and vendor management skills

✔️ High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple events simultaneously

✔️ Ability to think strategically while being hands-on with execution

✔️ Experience working with high-level stakeholders, speakers, and partners

✔️ Passion for optimising processes and driving continuous improvement
