AutoStore is seeking a new member to join our small but efficient and impactful legal team. The ideal candidate will have 3-8 years of experience in legal practice, preferably from a reputable law firm or corporate legal department. This role will focus on contract review, drafting, and negotiation, while providing legal support across various functions within the organization. The position requires a proactive and independent professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The role will report to AutoStore's General Counsel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, draft, advice & negotiate a wide range contracts, from commercial to procurement, technology partnerships, confidentiality agreements etc.
- Provide legal advice and support to various departments, including sales, procurement, and operations. Identify and mitigate legal risks in business transactions and operations.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and provide tailored legal solutions. Facilitate effective communication between the legal department and other functions.
- Stay updated on relevant legal developments and advise the company accordingly.
Qualifications:
- A law degree (LL.M. or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in legal practice, with a focus on contract law and negotiations.
- Strong knowledge of commercial law and corporate governance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (primary working language).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across functions and cultures.
- Self-driven and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and business needs.
- A team player with a positive attitude and a solution-oriented mindset.

Location for this role is in our offices in Lysaker (Oslo) or our headquarters in Nedre Vats (Norway`s West Coast).
