Set-Up Supervisor

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Set-up Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising and assisting with the proper setup and timely breakdown of all assigned banquet and meeting functions. You’ll lead your team in arranging event spaces accurately and efficiently, transforming rooms into effective, exciting, and jaw-dropping experiences for our guests.

As part of our team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. Your professionalism and helpful attitude will set the tone for a positive overall impression of the Kalahari.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and direct set-up team members during event preparations and clean up.
• Ensure rooms are set by event specifications, diagrams, and event orders.
• Maintain efficiency while balancing quality standards and timelines.
• Communicate effectively with Banquets, Catering, and Operations teams to ensure seamless event execution.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented environment in a fast-paced setting.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 1 year of supervisory or management experience (hospitality, events, or related field preferred).
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to lift, stack, push, and move banquet equipment throughout the Convention Center.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings.
• A guest-focused mindset with a commitment to creating memorable experiences.
