We are actively building our latest platform Usage Engine Cloud Edition - a multi-tenant cloud based SaaS offering to our clients. We are already processing billions of events per month and some very well-known companies are coming on board right now.

As we evolve, we’re shifting our focus to extracting insight and delivering value from the data we process. We call this Usage Intelligence—delivering capabilities like anomaly detection, usage forecasting, and churn prediction. These innovations are powered by AI and machine learning, which are becoming a core part of our product strategy to help our customers stay ahead in a data-driven world.

What You'Ll Do

• Be an integral part of an engineering team that builds a cloud-native, micro-services based, multi-tenant product hosted on AWS with technologies like Node.js, TypeScript, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, and many others.
• Solve challenges involving scalability, security, transaction safety, and high throughput.
• Actively contribute to system design, architecture discussions, and best practices.
• Contribute to lean and agile processes, sharing ideas and continuously improving the way we work.
• Collaborate with dynamic teams that value openness, growth, and agility, where every member is encouraged to contribute ideas, and grow professionally.

What You'Ll Bring

• Solid backend engineering experience, with a track record of building scalable and reliable distributed systems.
• Cloud-native mindset: Comfortable designing features that take advantage of cloud platforms and their built-in capabilities.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS—especially services like EKS, SNS, SQS, Lambda—and with containerized applications.
• Good understanding of microservices and event-driven architectures, and how to design them for resilience and performance.
• Design thinking: You approach system design with a focus on maintainability, scalability, and performance from the start.
• Database skills: Experience working with high transaction volumes and designing safe, efficient data flows.
• Proficiency in modern development tools and technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, MongoDB, Docker, GitHub, and Jira.
• Teamwork & Collaboration: You’re collaborative, like to work in a team, love mentoring and sharing knowledge, and thrive in an agile environment.
• Write clean, maintainable code with good test coverage, a strong emphasis on quality, and adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Leverage AI-powered development tools to enhance productivity and software quality. Demonstrate curiosity and a proactive mindset in exploring how AI can support and accelerate the development lifecycle.
