Job Summary:

Start the new year with a new career in a busy fast paced Fabrication company . We are currently seeking an experienced MR Truck Driver to join our steel fabrication Team in Wyong, New South Wales. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting materials and finished products to various locations around the Central Coast, Newcastle and Sydney regions while adhering to safety guidelines and maintaining a high level of professionalism.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate an MR truck to transport materials and finished products
• Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment
• Plan routes and ensure timely deliveries
• Perform pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery notes, timesheets, and fuel receipts
• Communicate effectively with the dispatch team regarding any delays or issues encountered during deliveries

Skills:

• Valid MR driver's license with a clean driving record
• Proven experience as an MR Truck Driver within a manufacturing or production environment preferred
• Ability to handle heavy loads safely using appropriate lifting techniques
• Excellent knowledge of road safety regulations
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Fork license would also be advantageous but not essential

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an MR Truck Driver.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with local roads, Sydney and Newcastle area New South Wales would be advantageous.
