The Quality Engineer 2 is a position for individuals with foundational experience in quality assurance. This role involves taking on more responsibility in quality improvement projects, performing detailed analyses, and supporting the development of quality systems to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Conduct inspections, testing, and analysis to ensure product quality and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Lead root cause analysis and assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for more complex quality issues.
• Develop and refine quality control systems, including inspection and testing procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues and drive process improvements.
• Prepare quality reports and metrics for review by senior team members.
• Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with ISO and other relevant standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
Job Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field. Advanced degrees can supplement experience.
Experience: Minimum of [3 years] of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
Certifications: Relevant quality certifications (e.g., CQE, CQA, Six Sigma Green Belt) are highly desirable.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of quality management systems and methodologies.
Proficient in statistical analysis and quality improvement tools.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Proficient in using quality management software and tools.
