Primary Purpose Of Role:
Are you seeking an outstanding opportunity to kickstart your career in Human Resources? As an HR Intern at Allison Transmission, you will be part of an innovative and fast-paced environment, gaining invaluable experience in the manufacturing industry. Our hands-on internship provides a unique learning experience in areas such as employee relations, talent management, talent acquisition, and HR operations and employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
As an HR Intern, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the planning and implementation of select HR programs and projects supporting HR Business Partners and the Centers of Excellence (COE).
- Partnering with on-site HR team members and business leaders to deliver high-quality support and people solutions.
- Gaining exposure to policy application, talent lifecycle, performance management, and engagement initiatives.
- Receiving coaching and mentoring from a comprehensive, experienced HR team.

Qualifications:
- Be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, with a graduation date of May 2026, focusing on Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Have strong organizational and communication skills.
- Be able to work up to 16 hours per week during the 2025–2026 academic year.
- Demonstrate a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Demonstrate a strong interest in understanding the manufacturing sector and HR practices.
