Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage civil engineering activities related to BTG and BOP areas, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure the availability of resources and materials for uninterrupted project execution.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate civil works with mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and standards during all phases of construction and maintenance.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and reports to ensure alignment with project requirements.
- Optimize resource utilization to achieve cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and site staff.
- Support the Civil Section Incharge in planning and executing strategic initiatives for site development and operational efficiency.
- Utilize digital tools and platforms for project tracking, documentation, and reporting. Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in civil engineering roles, with a focus on BTG and BOP areas.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale thermal power plant projects.
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
- Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or Construction Management (preferred).
- Years & Type of Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in civil engineering within the thermal power sector.
- Hands-on experience in BTG and BOP area construction, maintenance, and project management.
