Deputy General Manager - Civil BTG

Oversee the execution of civil structural works, including warehouse construction, central store development, erection of columns, ISMB from MS plates, roof sheeting, cladding, and deck sheeting.

• Ensure compliance with IS codes and standards for all structural works.
• Conduct structural assessments to identify risks of collapse and recommend corrective actions, such as removal, repair, or rebuilding of defective parts.
• Manage project budgets effectively, ensuring cost control and minimizing excess expenditure.
• Monitor project timelines to ensure completion within the set time frame while maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align civil structural works with overall project goals.
• Prepare and review billing documentation for civil works, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Implement best practices in construction methodologies to enhance efficiency and structural integrity.
• Drive safety initiatives and ensure adherence to safety protocols during project execution.
• Educational Background
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
• Advanced certifications or training in structural engineering or construction management are preferred. 
• Years & Type of Experience
• 18+ years of experience in executing civil structural works for large-scale EPC projects.
• Extensive experience in thermal power plant construction, with a focus on Ultra Super Critical technology.
