We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Marketplace Specialist to join our team. This role will focus on managing key aspects of our Marketplace operations, overseeing the overall performance of Lazada, Shopee, TikTok Shop. You will be responsible for maintaining a seamless and efficient marketplace experience for both vendors and customers, including but not limited to, optimizing product listings, improving the accuracy and quality of our catalogue, ensuring competitive pricing strategies, executing in-platform marketing campaigns and proper team collaboration from merchandising, operations and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Analytics & Reporting:
- Monitor performance metrics related to pricing, listings, and catalogue health.
- Provide regular reports on the ecommerce performance and sales category breakdown and margins.
- Utilize data insights to refine pricing strategies, catalogue organization, and listing optimization.
Cross-Functional And External Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the whole ECG team to ensure product promotion strategies align with pricing and catalogue campaign.
- Align with Merchandising team for any product update, listing update and campaign execution for brand-focused pushes.
- Work with the Warehouse team (Orders and Inventory) to ensure product availability and cascade any order related issues for resolution.
- Communicate with the Customer Support team to address any listing-related issues and improve customer satisfaction.
- Communicate with external clients - Marketplace KAMs for Brand feature, pushes and special partnership that will help improve overall GMV.
Catalogue Management:
- Oversee the creation, maintenance, and optimization of product listings across multiple marketplaces (e.g. Lazada, Shopee, TikTok Shop).
- Ensure product descriptions, titles, images, and other metadata are accurate, complete, and compliant with marketplace guidelines.
- Implement and maintain category structures to improve discoverability and sales.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Operations, Merchandising, Customer Service) to ensure accurate and timely product availability and catalog accuracy.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience in marketplace management, e-commerce, or similar roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Strong understanding of marketplace platforms (e.g., Lazada, Shopee, TikTok Shop, etc.) and their operational dynamics.
- Proven experience in pricing strategy, sourcing, and catalogue management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making.
- Knowledge of SEO, product listing optimization, and marketplace guidelines.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Workspace and other marketplace management tools/software.
- Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced marketplace environment.
- Familiarity with marketplace advertising and promotional strategies
