Job Summary:

The Organizational Development Manager will lead the talent strategy and practices across our India operations.  This is a People Manager role that will lead a team focused on delivering impactful, scalable learning and development solutions and culture initiatives aligned with TriNet’s global talent strategy.  They will act as a thought partner, and subject matter expert in the areas of organizational culture, engagement, recognition, learning, teambuilding, and performance management.  This highly experienced Organizational Development manager will be able to systematically connect information, processes, and events by organizing and simplifying divergent information, searching for common themes, patterns, and causal connections. The ideal candidate brings a passion for people development, a strategic mindset, a strong grasp of adult learning principles, and proven experience managing both programs and people.   They must also be competent in classroom and team facilitation. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with key stakeholders and People Team partners to deliver a broad set of OD solutions and initiatives to help align local India talent strategy, people, and operations to global practices. This includes (but not limited to) designing and delivering team-building, colleague recognition, engagement and performance management practices.
  • Conducts learning assessments and diagnostics to identify learning and gaps and leverages insights to explore, define, recommend and/or co-create strategic solutions. 
  • Understands the links between corporate strategy, leadership, structure, talent and culture. 
  • Coordinates with internal stakeholders to scope and deliver project and programs supporting the One TriNet Culture of Belonging for India colleagues in close partnership with CRGs and Global COB Leader. 
  • Oversee the performance management process in India to ensure alignment with global frameworks and timelines.
  • Partner with India People Leaders and Country Leadership to conduct regular talent reviews, maintain critical role profiles, and support succession planning for key positions. 
  • Design and implement comprehensive learning programs using blended methods such as classroom, virtual, eLearning, and social learning to meet business needs. 
  • Apply adult learning methodology and instructional design principles to develop engaging, scalable, and brand-compliant learning content that meets organizational goals. 
  • Stay current with learning and development trends to introduce innovative approaches and maintain relevance in program design. 
  • Lead and manage a team of individual contributors and drive accountability for delivering outcomes.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, OD, Psychology, Business or equivalent experience, advanced degree preferred - Required
  • Master’s Degree in HR, OD, Psychology, Business or equivalent experience, advanced degree preferred - Preferred

Work Experience

  • Typically 8+ years Talent Development, Learning, or Organizational Development in a corporate setting - required
  • Typically 3+ years Experience leading Learning projects end to end - required
  • Typically 2+ years leading a Talent Development / Learning team/function/people management  - required
  • Experience working in an HR Outsourcing/PEO environment  - preferred

Licenses And Certifications

  • ATD, DDI, PHR, PMP, SHRM certifications upon hire - preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong people management, analytical, interviewing, research, organizational, project management and problem-solving skills     
  • Demonstrated ability to lead L&D teams and manage performance, development, and engagement of team members.    
  • Proven ability to partner and collaborate with others at all levels within the organization, including senior leaders, managers, employees, and external resources    
  • Proven track record in designing, implementing, and managing large-scale learning, DEI, performance management, and recognition programs.    
  • Fosters a learning culture within the team focused on coaching, regular feedback, accountability, and development that energizes colleagues.    
  • Strong understanding of instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.    
  • Experience working in a global or matrixed environment preferred.    
  • Proficient with Articulate Storyline/Rise, Camtasia and/or other content authoring tools preferred    
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
