Job Description:

Position Overview

The senior accountant will be responsible for managing the process for performing overall General Accounting and Sub ledger maintenance as well as Reporting for the company.

Essential Job Functions

• Manage the GL and sub ledgers in Oracle.
• Monitor Aging reports.
• Prepare monthly accruals and prepaid expenses.
• Review monthly expenses, investigate variances and fluctuations.
• Prepare account reconciliations.

·       Cash Management.

• Ensure that required documentation and authorization, control processes are in place.
• Assist Supervisor with various projects.
• Ability to work under pressure and work flexible hours when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be self-motivated, well organized with attention to detail
• 5+ years or more experience in Accounting or Audit and have good understanding on Accounting Principles and Internal Control.
• Effective verbal and written communication with all levels of the company in English and Japanese
• Ability to work with other stakeholders outside Accounting & Finance
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities
• Identify sensitive information and maintain confidentiality with tact and
