Purpose:

The Care Liaison (CL) is the primary contact for prescription referrals, handling intake, data entry, referral processing, outbound mail, and triaging inquiries. The CL will collaborate will work cross-functionally to support the patient service program.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for prescription referrals.
• Execution of end-to-end processes to support appropriate data entry and referral triaging.
• Support activities including intake and data entry of prescription referrals, referral processing, inbound faxing, and preparing outbound mail for patient/prescriber.
• Work cross-functionally across Operations in supporting the patient service program such as reimbursement, case management and pharmacy triage support. 
• Prepare outbound mail and/or faxes for patients.
• Problem solving skills for resolving discrepancies in patient, prescriber or insurance information.
• Uphold patient privacy laws and foster collaborative team relationships.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma
• Minimum of 2 years of solid customer service experience
• Ability to efficiently navigate multiple screens and systems to perform work. Ability to work assigned 8 hour shift between program operating hours of 8am-8pm EST.
• Typing speed of at least 50+ WPM with high accuracy
• Ability to proficiently use Microsoft programs.
• Ability to thrive in a regulated, remote, high-volume environment 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or Undergraduate degree
• 2 + years’ experience in healthcare setting
• Knowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy standards
• Ability to understand medical terminology, NDC, ICD-10, and insurance
• Bilingual Spanish speaking, reading and writing
