Eligibility

Qualifications

• ACCA, CAF (ICAP) qualified, or Master’s degree from a reputable university.
• Qualification in Islamic Finance will be an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Internal Controls/Audit within the banking sector or a chartered accountancy (CA) firm.

Skills Required

• Knowledge of key banking regulations (SBP Prudential, AML/CFT/CPF, FX Manual)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Understanding of auditing and internal control principles
• Ability to identify and assess compliance gaps

Responsibilities

• Assist the Team Lead in conducting compliance reviews to evaluate adherence to SBP regulations and internal policies.
• Conduct credit risk reviews of financing portfolios (Corporate/Commercial, SME, Consumer) in accordance with prudential regulations.
• Perform basic substantive and analytical procedures to identify potential compliance gaps.
• Carry out desktop reviews focused on specific regulatory requirements.
• Support the Team Lead in evaluating internal controls and documenting areas for improvement.
• Prepare working papers and assist in drafting review findings and reports.
