About Network & Acquiring Solutions

As part of the Global Merchant & Network Services group (GMNS), the Network & Acquirer Solutions (NAS) team is at the core of American Express, uniquely positioned to support every business unit and customer across the Enterprise. The American Express Network enables over $1.6 trillion in annual spend, serving our Issuers and Acquirers in more than 170 markets worldwide. We are driving a strategic, multi-year transformation to deliver operational excellence for our existing Network capabilities, enable innovative payment products, services, and capabilities effectively and efficiently based on the Enterprise needs to support our BU strategies more closely, and deliver on our customers’ evolving needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the leadership team to develop, refresh, and ensure execution of strategy, goals, and priorities while ensuring proper governance and risk management
  • Develop and own the communication plan for roadmap products including building strategic direction, requirements and adherence to critical processes to deliver against roadmap.
  • Understand the end-to-end Core Network roadmap and become a “go to” resource for colleagues
  • Manage critical cross-team initiatives inclusive of communications, consistent adherence to processes and organizational planning.
  • Drive usage and adoption strategy for Core Network capabilities.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Relevant Experience: Extensive experience in payments, with a strong background in Product and Platform Management, driving innovation and execution across complex ecosystems.
  • Results-Oriented: Demonstrated success in coordinating cross-functional teams—including Business, Platform Delivery, Technology, Policy, Risk, and Marketing—to launch innovative products and capabilities that deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Strategic Thinker: Proven ability to anticipate challenges throughout the product lifecycle and develop strategic solutions that ensure successful product delivery and launch in fast-paced, innovative environments.
  • Intellectual Curiosity:

    A proactive mindset with a willingness to challenge assumptions, ask critical questions, and drive data-informed decisions that elevate the overall product experience.
  • Highly Collaborative:

    Skilled in building strong, trust-based relationships with stakeholders at all levels, fostering collaboration that creates value beyond traditional approaches.
  • Effective Communicator And Influencer:

    Strong ability to influence senior leaders and key partners through compelling narratives, backed by excellent communication skills and expertise in creating high-quality executive-level presentations and deliverables.

Minimum Qualifications

 

Salary Range: $123,000.00 to $215,250 annually + bonus + benefits
