- Position Name: Mechanical Engineer (Infrastructure Projects)

- Working Hrs: 10hrs (Including Lunch Break) / 6 Days
- Domain: Expertise in Mega Infrastructure PWA Projects, with a specialization in pumping stations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop mechanical systems for large-scale pumping stations.
- Oversee the selection and specification of pumps, valves, piping, and related mechanical equipment.
- Responsible for the production of Shop Drawings and As-built Drawings.
- Conduct technical assessments, feasibility studies, and ensure compliance with Ashghal regulations and international engineering standards.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including civil, electrical, and instrumentation engineers, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Prepare and review technical reports and drawings.
- Must have enough experience and knowledge to assess built assets for Pumping Stations.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies in engineering design and planning.
- Provide technical support and solutions to resolve design challenges.
- Liaise with the Client and Consultants to resolve Technical Queries.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in mechanical engineering for pumping stations, particularly in large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Prior experience with PWA projects or similar major infrastructure developments is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, piping systems, rotating equipment, and HVAC systems.
- Familiarity with international engineering codes and standards (ASHRAE, API, ASME, BS, NFPA, etc.).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant engineering software.
- Strong project management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
