Graduate Civil Engineer

You will receive a permanent position and structured on-the-job training, guided learning plans and leadership mentoring. Over the two-year program, you will be building your career as you experience two one-year rotations with placements in various roles and projects.

UGL is looking for QLD, SA and WA based final year Civil Engineering university students, or graduates who completed their degree in 2024. The first of your two rotations will include the opportunity to join our New Energy business. We’ve already delivered nearly 20 major renewable energy projects across the country, including some of the biggest battery installations and solar farm construction in Australia - and we’re not slowing down. Join us and get hands-on experience working on real projects that make a real impact.

For your first 12 month rotation, expect to FIFO on a roster where you will gain invaluable hands-on onsite experience as an engineer.

To be successful in this program, you will have the capability to:

• Be flexible, adaptable, and proactive in learning new skills.
• Work both autonomously and collaboratively within teams.
• Deliver high-quality, outcome-driven work and stay self-motivated.
• Build positive relationships with stakeholders and communicate effectively.
• Innovate and propose creative solutions and be willing to FIFO/relocate for program rotations.
