Job Description
We are seeking a talented Prompt Engineer to join our Italian branch of a global organization. This role is pivotal in leveraging Generative AI (GenAI) to automate internal processes (i.e. reporting) and to develop innovative AI-powered services for our customers. The ideal candidate will be passionate about prompt design, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement GenAI solutions for internal automation (e.g., reporting, invoicing) and customer-facing products.
- Engineer, test, and optimize prompts for LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude, Gemini, Mistral, LLaMA) to maximize accuracy, reliability, and efficiency.
- Fine-tune and customize LLMs for business-specific applications.
- Build retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines and agentic AI applications (e.g., GraphRAG, LangChain).
- Prototype, deploy, and scale production-ready models integrated into Experian platforms and workflows.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Sales, Pre-sales, Analytics, Product and Proposition ) to identify automation opportunities and improve productivity.
- Evaluate open-source and commercial LLMs for performance, scalability, and suitability to business needs.
- Document best practices and contribute to internal GenAI knowledge sharing.
- Support training initiatives to upskill internal teams on GenAI tools and capabilities.
Qualifications
- (2+ years) Proven experience in AI/ML engineering with direct exposure to generative AI and LLMs.

- Interest in AI governance, explainability, and ethics.
