Operations Supervisor - Well Services

Job Overview

Weatherford Algeria is seeking an experienced Well Services Operations Supervisor to oversee Thru Tubing operations. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary focal point between Weatherford and the client, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-performance service delivery. This role requires deep technical knowledge in Thru Tubing operations, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to manage personnel logistics.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the main interface between Weatherford and the client, ensuring smooth communication and operational alignment.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise Thru Tubing interventions, ensuring full compliance with safety and service quality standards.
• Oversee fishing tools, milling tools, plugs, and packers operations (core four product lines).
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support during wellsite interventions.
• Manage crew schedules, personnel assignment, and performance.
• Ensure all sample tools and operational equipment are maintained, inspected, and deployed according to procedures.
• Prepare and review operational programs, job plans, and post-job reports.
• Monitor KPIs, identify improvement opportunities, and drive operational excellence.
• Liaise with engineering, logistics, and HSE teams to ensure seamless execution.

• Strong technical expertise in Thru Tubing, Fishing, Milling, Plugs, and Packers operations.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Proven ability to lead teams in field operations under challenging conditions.
• Solid understanding of HSE standards and risk management.
• Strong organizational and personnel management abilities.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make quick operational decisions.

Qualifications:

• 5–10 years of experience in Thru Tubing / Well Services operations, including field supervision.
• Background in Engineering or Technical Management preferred.
• Prior experience in Weatherford tools or similar OEM technologies is an advantage.
• Fluency in English and French (Arabic is a plus).
