Our company has experienced significant growth in the EMEA region over the last five years, and we have plans for further expansion. We are currently in search of a Geo HR Manager who is the primary HR partner for Italy, Spain, and Greece, etc, ensuring compliance with local regulations, optimising the employee lifecycle, and strengthening people management capability. This role serves as a trusted partner to local managers, driving employee engagement, organisational culture, and alignment of global HR programs to local needs.
In this Role, you’ll get to:
- Ensure compliance with local employment laws, HR policies, and regulatory requirements, proactively reviewing and updating internal policies, processes, and compliance initiatives.
- Serve as a trusted partner to managers and BU HRBPs, providing coaching on leadership, performance management, legal implications, local HR practices and team effectiveness.
- Guide managers on different levels of employee relations matters, including disciplinary cases, grievances, and conflict resolution, ensuring a fair and positive workplace by following the local practice.
- Lead employee engagement, wellbeing, and culture initiatives to foster morale and strengthen organisational culture.
- Partner with HRSSC and Operations to optimise end-to-end employee lifecycle processes to improve efficiency, compliance, and employee experience.
- Provide local insights or business needs on regional HR trends, compensation and benefits, competitive practices, employee sentiment, and risks to inform both business and global HR strategy.
- Collaborate with HR CoEs to adapt and implement global HR programs to meet local requirements while maintaining corporate alignment.
- Other ad hoc project leading and tasks
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience in a multinational or regional environment, including ideally 3 years at a managerial level.
- Strong expertise in local employment law, compliance, and employee relations, with proven experience managing complex ER cases.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and optimise HR policies, processes, and compliance frameworks.
- Proven track record of advising and coaching managers on leadership, performance management, and team effectiveness.
- Experience leading employee engagement, wellbeing, and culture initiatives tailored to regional needs.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to drive cross-functional HR initiatives to successful implementation.
- Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills, with cultural awareness and adaptability.
- Mandarin language skill is a bonus.
