Job Brief

ALTUS is seeking a visionary and strategic Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the organisation into its next phase of growth and innovation. The successful incumbent will be responsible for driving the companys overall strategy, financial performance, and operational excellence, while ensuring sustainable growth and maintaining ALTUS strong reputation for service excellence.

This role requires a seasoned leader with extensive experience in the ICT sector, strong business acumen, and a proven ability to inspire teams, build partnerships, and execute strategy at executive level.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP & BUSINESS GROWTH
Define and implement the strategic direction of ALTUS in line with its vision, mission, and core values. Identify new markets, partnerships, and revenue streams within ICT, Cloud, Cybersecurity, and Infrastructure services. Oversee strategic business development and ensure growth targets are met. Foster innovation in service delivery and digital transformation initiatives.

2. FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT & PERFORMANCE
Oversee company budgets, forecasts, and financial performance to ensure profitability and sustainability. Present quarterly financial and operational reports to the Board. Drive cost-efficiency and optimise resource allocation across departments. Ensure compliance with Namibian tax, regulatory, and audit requirements.

3. OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE
Ensure delivery of high-quality ICT services and projects on time and within budget. Oversee the development and continuous improvement of operational systems, policies, and procedures. Drive efficiency, accountability, and technology innovation across all departments. Collaborate closely with the Operations, Finance, and HR teams to ensure seamless cross-functional performance.

4. HUMAN CAPITAL & CULTURE
Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing leadership team. Champion a culture of accountability, innovation, and teamwork. Oversee performance management, talent development, and succession planning. Uphold transformation, diversity, and inclusion within the workplace.

5. STAKEHOLDER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
Represent ALTUS to clients, investors, partners, and government agencies. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders. Promote ALTUS brand visibility and reputation through strategic networking and public engagement.

6. GOVERNANCE, COMPLIANCE & RISK MANAGEMENT
Ensure corporate governance standards and statutory compliance are maintained. Identify business risks and ensure adequate mitigation plans are implemented. Uphold ethical leadership, integrity, and transparency in all business dealings.

LEVEL OF QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, ICT Management, or related field (Masters Degree preferred).
10+ years of experience in ICT or Technology sector, with at least 5 years in executive/senior leadership roles.
Proven experience in business development, operations management, and financial oversight.
Strong understanding of ICT infrastructure, systems integration, and service delivery.

Proficient in modern productivity tools (ERP, CRM, and BI software). Experienced in contract negotiation, service level management, and vendor partnerships.
