Associate - Retail - Branch Operations - Alwar - Data Arcade - J Grades

Key Responsibilities: 1. Branch Operations:

Manage routine branch operations including cash handling, customer service, and back-office tasks.

Ensure smooth execution of day-to-day banking operations like account opening, fund transfers, cheque clearing, and locker operations.

Maintain branch cash within permissible limits and handle ATM cash replenishment as required.

2. Customer Service:

Attend to walk-in customers and resolve queries related to products, services, and transactions.

Promote digital banking platforms to enhance customer convenience and reduce branch footfall.

3. Compliance & Risk Management:

Ensure strict adherence to internal policies, regulatory guidelines (e.g., KYC, AML), and audit requirements.

Maintain accurate records and ensure timely updation of customer documentation and MIS reports.

Monitor and report suspicious transactions as per internal guidelines.

4. Sales & Cross-Selling (Optional / Role-Based):

Support the sales team in cross-selling banking products like savings accounts, term deposits, credit cards, loans, and insurance.

Educate customers about new products and services as per the branch's business goals.

5. Coordination & Reporting:

Liaise with internal departments (e.g., Risk, Compliance, IT) for issue resolution.

Prepare daily/monthly reports on operations and submit to the Branch Manager or regional office.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong understanding of retail banking operations

Customer-centric approach and excellent communication skills

Attention to detail and ability to follow processes

Proficiency in MS Office and core banking systems

Problem-solving and multitasking skills

Qualifications & Experience:

Graduate in any discipline (Commerce/Finance preferred); MBA is an advantage

1–3 years of experience in retail banking / branch operations (freshers may also be considered for entry-level roles)
