An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Network Management Specialist within the Transport Strategy and Policy Team in the Environment and Transport Department. We are looking for someone to support the development and implementation of the County Council’s transport policy particularly the approach to managing transport networks. 

About The Role

You will have the ability to provide traffic management policy advice to assist with the development, implementation and review of the County Council’s transport policies and strategies (including the Network Management Plan) ensuring that they support the wider policies of the Authority. 

You will assist with the development and management (including budgetary) of the delivery of transport studies and other pieces of work that provide evidence to inform future policy, scheme and programme development. 

You will have experience of supporting a portfolio of projects with a knowledge of project management principles. You will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with diverse priorities. In return you will get a chance to manage and support exciting and innovative projects that will provide the blueprint for how the department works in the future.
