• We are looking for a part-time Steward to join our back-of-house team at Cordis, Auckland, keeping our kitchens spotless and service flowing. 

Key Responsibilities

• Operate commercial dishwashers; wash, sort, and store crockery, cutlery, pots, and pans
• Clean and sanitise benches, floors, equipment, cool rooms, and bins to HACCP standards
• Handle waste, recycling, and glass safely; follow hotel SOPs and checklists
• Receive and put away deliveries; rotate stock (FIFO) and keep storerooms tidy
• Assist with basic prep and set-up/pack-down when required
• Report hazards, incidents, and equipment faults promptly

Our Ideal Candidate

• Reliability, great pace, and pride in high standards of hygiene
• Team focus and clear communication, even when it’s busy
• Physically fit; comfortable standing for long periods and safely lifting up to ~20 kg
• Previous stewarding/kitchen-hand experience is a plus (not essential)
