As a Payments Mid Market Account Executive within Chase Merchant Services, you will have the opportunity to sell products and services to new customers through various channels, develop an in-depth understanding of client needs, and identify client opportunities. You will leverage your knowledge of our products and pricing to negotiate competitively, while maintaining sales records and preparing reports. You will also collaborate with credit partners and apply sound risk management protocols to protect the firm.
Job Responsibilities
- Sell products and services to new customers through face to face, digital and/or phone based contact
- Develop an in-depth understanding of clients current needs and future strategy
- Identify and self-source client opportunities; this may include developing a vertical market strategy, to effectively sell to clients with complex requirements (Ecommerce /Integrated POS /Multi Location/ VAR)
- Possess deep knowledge of company's products and pricing to facilitate sales efforts, while aligning daily activities to accomplish strategic business objectives
- Negotiate with clients to price products and services competitively while generating revenue, as a trusted advisor, leveraging core knowledge, to recommend and promote payment processing solutions to clients
- Understand internal credit processes and advance working relationship with credit partners
- Maintain sales records and prepares sales reports as required
- Protect the firm by applying sound risk management protocols; Is knowledgeable of compliance and risk issues to escalate to management as appropriate; will collaborate to determine solutions.
Qualifications:
- Generally at least 5 years of B2B (business to business) sales experience with a proven track record of self-sourcing leads, resulting in meeting revenue goals in a solution selling environment
- Strong tele sales ability, exceptional written. verbal communication skills, time management, organizational & planning skills and ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently
- Superior partnership skills, and ability to work with teams across multiple functions
- Ability to help identify innovative solutions to best serve customers. mobilize internal networks and resources
- Ability to travel up to 25%
