The In-House Paid Media team is a center of excellence, partnering with Lines of Business (LOBs) to deliver a unified, high-impact marketing experience.

As a Paid Search Vice President on the Paid Media team, you should be a dynamic leader with deep expertise in Search Engine Marketing (SEM). You will have proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, and a track record of building and mentoring high-performing teams. You will lead a pod of talented team members, driving strategic vision and execution across several LOBs. You will oversee the development and execution of search marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with business objectives (OKRs) and delivering measurable results. You will serve as a thought leader, internal consultant, and trusted advisor, shaping the future of Paid Search at JPMorgan Chase. Your leadership will inspire innovation, foster collaboration, and elevate the paid media discipline across the organization.

Job Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the paid search strategy across multiple LOBs (Home Lending, Auto, Everday401k, etc.), ensuring alignment with JPMC’s enterprise goals and marketing vision.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a pod of SEM professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, continuous learning, and innovation.
  • Partner with marketing, analytics, technology, and LOB stakeholders to integrate paid search strategies into broader marketing initiatives.
  • Oversee the end-to-end management of search campaigns, from ideation and execution to optimization and reporting, ensuring best-in-class quality and ROI.
  • Guide the development and refinement of analytics dashboards, leveraging data to provide actionable insights and inform strategic decisions.
  • Champion a test-and-learn approach, leading advanced testing plans to drive innovation and maximize campaign performance.
  • Present performance reports, strategic recommendations, and market insights to senior leadership and LOB executives.
  • Build and manage relationships with internal partners, search platforms, and third-party vendors, ensuring seamless collaboration and execution.
  • Ensure all paid search activities adhere to JPMC’s risk management policies and industry regulations.
  • Lead market research and competitive analysis efforts to inform strategic planning and maintain a cutting-edge approach.
  • Resolve complex issues, remove barriers to execution, and drive operational efficiency across the paid search function.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in search marketing, with a focus on strategy, leadership, and cross-functional influence.
  • Demonstrated success (3+ years) leading high-performing teams and managing large-scale, multi-LOB search programs for recognized brands.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into strategic action.
  • Advanced proficiency with Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and third-party SEM tools (e.g., SA 360, Adobe, Marin).
  • Superior communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging senior stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Innovative, collaborative, and results-driven mindset.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels of the organization.
  • Google Ads certification required.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Financial Services experience preferred.
  • Agency or in-house paid media leadership experience, managing large-scale acquisition, e-commerce, or travel search programs.
  • Commitment to quality, service, and operational efficiency.
  • Passion for digital marketing and ongoing professional development.
