About The Job

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

The Program Management Office (PMO) supports our Cyber Response and Resilience mission to enable the company and its partners to anticipate, mitigate, and rapidly recover from cyber threats through data-driven risk management and secure technology. In this role, you will define, own, and drive the multi-year strategic goals and roadmap for core security programs. You will be translating emerging threats and company objectives into security priorities and collaborating executive leadership to align resources. You will act as the primary security liaison for executive leaders across Engineering, Product, and other cross-functional groups, driving consensus to execute complex security initiatives. You will apply strong technical judgment to oversee the identification and mitigation of complex security risks, ensuring solutions are scalable, and compliant. You will also manage a portfolio of complex security programs from inception to completion, establishing metrics for success, providing clear stakeholder communication, and managing escalations effectively.

The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer. We look across Google’s products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers and strengthen existing systems. As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company.
