At PwC Australia, you’ll play a crucial role in empowering privately-owned businesses to navigate complex tax landscapes with confidence. As a Senior Associate, Private Business (Business Tax), you’ll play a vital role in delivering tailored tax advisory and compliance services, working with clients across family enterprises, partnerships, and privately-held companies.
What You’Ll Do:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of private business clients, understanding their unique tax needs and providing tailored advice.
- Ensure clients meet their tax obligations by preparing and reviewing tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with current regulations.
- Advise clients on tax-efficient strategies to optimize their tax positions, including succession planning, mergers and acquisitions, and reorganization.
- Stay updated with the latest tax laws and regulations, conducting in-depth research to provide clients with informed guidance.
- Mentor and support junior staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
- Identify potential tax risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, protecting clients' interests.
- Provide updates to clients on tax-related issues, helping them stay informed about changes in tax legislation.
- Provide tax compliance, tax planning and tax advisory services for large client groups with multiple types of entities including trusts, companies, partnership and individuals;
- Assist clients with tax related services for acquiring businesses such as tax due diligence, reviewing tax sections of purchase agreements and the process of implementing the acquired entities such as tax consolidation calculations and stub period tax returns;
