The Role:

We are looking for a motivated Mid-Level Category Manager / Assistant Buyer to join our team in the Toys and Kids category. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills and take their career to the next level. As a mid-level category manager, you'll work closely with our experienced team to drive category growth, develop strategic plans, and collaborate with suppliers.

What You’Ll Do:

✅ Develop and implement category plans, including assortment, pricing, and promotions ✅ Analyse sales data and market trends to inform category decisions ✅ Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate agreements and develop promotional plans ✅ Work with stores to drive category success and deliver customer-centric experiences ✅ Manage budgets and forecasts to ensure category profitability

What you will need:
📆 1-3 years’ experience in retail category management or a related field
🎓 Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience 
🗣️ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
📊 Strong analytical and problem solving skills 
⚡ Ability to work independently and take ownership of ideas
