About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled records management professional with strong records system administration knowledge and experience to join our positive, customer focused Corporate Information Team.
As our new Corporate Information Systems Administrator Trainer, you will inspire and facilitate success by leading the records system administration function and team. Key responsibilities will include leading core records system administration work, delivering records system training for new staff, designing and delivering refresher training, troubleshooting system integration and other issues raised by customers, liaising with vendors and the IT applications team, supervising the work of the records system administration team and supporting the Head of Corporate Information with strategic projects. You will report to the Head of Corporate Information and work collaboratively with the Corporate Information team and broader Chief Information Office department on a number of our key projects.
This is a full-time permanent role based at Knox Civic Centre. We support flexible working arrangements while ensuring operational needs of the role are met.
This is a Band 6 classified role. Remuneration will be $98,353.35 to $107,416.64 (depending on experience) plus superannuation in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee.
What you will bring to this role
The key selection criteria for this role are:
- Experience in administration and ongoing maintenance of an Electronic Records and Document Management System (EDRMS)
- Experience and demonstrated ability in an Information Management role
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including communication skills (both written and verbal), consultation and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering records and information management related training programs, especially EDRMS training to staff
- Proven record of being an effective, proactive team member with the ability to work alone and in a team, prioritising issues while managing high workload volumes
- Experience in developing and motivating staff desirable.
- Tertiary qualifications in an information management related discipline and relevant experience, or less formal qualifications with extensive experience
