Senior Infrastructure Engineer

As an Infrastructure Engineer at Ajaib, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the underlying infrastructure that supports our development and production environments. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the availability, reliability, scalability, and security of our systems.

Responsibilities:

• Deep expertise in networking (BGP, MPLS, VPNs), storage (SAN/NAS), and virtualization.
• Proven experience in fintech or other regulated industries.
• Strong knowledge of backup, DR, and HA design patterns.
• Familiarity with ITSM practices and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix).
• Exposure to cloud-connectivity architectures and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Integrate on-prem workloads with hybrid cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Experience with complaince like PCI DSS or SOC 2

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 7 years of experience as an Infrastructure Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure-as-code concepts and tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proficient in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Solid understanding of networking protocols, security principles, and best practices.
• Knowledge of monitoring and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
