Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and deliver engaging music lessons across various grade levels that cater to different skill levels and interests.
• Teach students to play instruments, read music, and understand music theory, fostering a deep appreciation for diverse musical styles.
• Encourage creativity and self-expression through individual and group musical projects and performances.
• Assess students’ progress, providing constructive feedback to enhance their learning and musical abilities.
• Organize and participate in school performances, concerts, and other music-related events to showcase student talent.
• Collaborate with other subject teachers to integrate music into multidisciplinary projects and activities.
• Maintain a well-organized and equipped music classroom that fosters a love of learning and creativity.
• Engage in professional development opportunities to remain current with best practices in music education.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or a related field.
• Teaching qualification and experience in a classroom setting, preferably within primary or secondary education.
• Strong proficiency in music theory and practice, with the ability to teach multiple instruments.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
• Creativity, patience, and a love for music education.
• Commitment to fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
