About the role: 

The Education and Strategic Growth Manager will contribute to the identification, development and  

management of international marketing and business development opportunities and strategies in current and emerging markets. The role will lead the coordination of educational, administrative, and strategic initiatives offshore. This role is pivotal in driving business development and international student recruitment activities that align with educational policy and institutional objectives.    

Role responsibilities are (but not limited to): 

Sales Management:

  • Own and deliver the international enrolment sales targets for (in conjunction with colleague/s) targeted markets. 

Account Management:

  • Management and coordination of regional official education partners, and the establishment and maintenance of agreement and incentive arrangements, as needed and in conjunction with team 

Educational Leadership & Growth:

  • Coordinate the educational, administrative, and Transnational (TNE) initiatives offshore, ensuring alignment with institutional standards and regulatory frameworks. 

Strategic Marketing & Business Development:

  • Plan, develop, and organise advertising and marketing campaigns to support international enrolment and sales objectives. 

Marketing:

  • Contribution to the development and implementation of the strategic international marketing and recruitment plan 

Compliance & Regulatory Oversight:

  • Manage regulatory and compliance requirements in coordination with TGES’s compliance team 

Leadership Accountabilities:

  • Identify, select and recruit appropriately skilled staff for the positions that report to the role 
  • Lead, direct and develop a high performing team whose main priorities are accountability, efficiency, accuracy and service to stakeholders/customers 

Who You Are:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales the relevant industry  
  • A strong history in the international education environment 
  • Proactively identifies business needs and proposes value-adding solutions 
  • Ability to effectively engage key stakeholders 
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and has committed to continuously strive for professional development; 
  • Advanced organisational skills and attention to detail; 
  • High level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; 
  • Excellent problem-solving ability and, 
  • Strong adherence and acknowledgment of Policies and Procedures and industry requirements 

Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification or certification in relevant industry or business 

 
This is a permanent full-time position based at our Wakefield campus in Adelaide.
