Accounts Receivable Specialist

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

1. Assisting with Bank deposits / Credit Card Payments
2. Posting incoming payments and insuring they are applied properly
3. Working with customers on billings discrepancies
4. Handling Notice of Non-Payments / Liens
5. Collection of required lien releases for payment from customer
6. Reconciling AR adjustments
7. Maintaining AR customer records
8. Performs additional tasks as needed.

 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:   

1. Must have a degree in accounting
2. Knowledge of Florida construction lien laws
3. Be able to multi-task and thrive in a challenging environment

 SAFETY AWARENESS: 

• Ability to provide self with a safe work environment when working with various software and information technology equipment.
• Ability to understand safety parameters surrounding an office environment.

 PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

• Must be able to hear and speak clearly with professionalism.
• Must be able to walk, stand, sit, stoop, kneel, climb stairs, reach overhead, push, pull, lift, and carry up to 25 lbs., must have dexterity of fingers (or mechanical substitutions).
• Normal vision range (with or without corrective eyewear); ability to see color and to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols 100% of the time.
