"Data Driven Organisation" is one of the strategic themes of Retail NL and CITO within Rabobank. As Data architect within Payments & Savings, you make a crucial contribution to the development of fit-for-future data solutions for Area Accounts.
- Take data-driven working to a higher level by translating business requirements into (specifications for) robust solutions
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of data solutions and standards
- Develop a strategic roadmap for data initiatives, with the ability to prioritize based on impact. Build compelling business cases grounded in customer or organizational value to ensure alignment with broader business goals.
- Leverage generative AI and machine learning to enhance data-driven decision-making, automate complex processes, and unlock new opportunities for innovation and customer value.

- Product Development Dashboards Design dashboards for product managers and product owners that provide insights into customer behavior, product performance, and market trends—enabling data-informed decisions for product enhancements and market expansion.
- Operational Monitoring for DevOps Squads
- Build real-time dashboards for DevOps teams to monitor application health, performance metrics, and incident trends—helping them detect anomalies early and resolve issues faster.
- Data Standards Advisory Provide guidance to DevOps squads on implementing and adhering to data standards (e.g., naming conventions, metadata tagging, data lineage) to ensure consistency, interoperability, and compliance across systems.
- Personalized Product Offerings
- Develop data-driven solutions that enable personalized product recommendations based on customer profiles, behavior, and preferences—enhancing customer engagement and conversion rates.
- Generative AI & Machine Learning Applications Integrate GenAI and ML models to automate data classification, generate predictive insights, and support use cases such as churn prediction, fraud detection, and intelligent customer support.
- As a data architect you are working closely together with both PO’s, business stakeholders and IT. You bridge the gap between business requirements and IT specifications for devops team. You are able to bridge the gap between raw data and meaningful insights, and you ensure our organization can efficiently use this information.

- Innovation and Strategic Planning Drive innovation by applying the latest technologies and data-driven insights to your domain. Develop actionable strategies and roadmaps that embed these advancements into the area's way of working, ensuring long-term value and adaptability.
- Requirements Gathering & Translation Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data and reporting needs and translate these into clear functional and technical requirements. Drive these initiatives from design to implementation.
- Data Modelling & Design
- Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models that support business needs, solutions, ensuring consistency, scalability, and performance.
- Drive development Work with developers and engineers that can build (data) solutions that are needed. You make sure that the squads solutions are built according to specifications and validate outputs against business expectations through testing and stakeholder feedback.
Through your involvement in various information deliveries and insights, you will gain a deeper understanding of Area Accounts needs. You will be a mature conversationalist and capable of thinking at different levels of abstraction. You proactively consider opportunities, assess ideas for their impact and feasibility, and play a guiding role in the decision-making process from business requirements to IT solutions. You are able to design new solutions using the latest insights and to define requirements (based on needs and desires), create functional designs, and ensure alignment and buy-in from stakeholders

You And Your Talent
- HBO or university degree, preferably related to computer science and/or data
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a BI Business Analyst or in a similar role within a data warehouse or data-intensive environment Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong understanding of data modelling principles
- Familiarity with designing and implementing data processes and data integration
- Eager to learn and thorough; you don't settle for half answers
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Inventiveness, initiative, courage, pushing boundaries, and overcoming obstacles are expected from you
- Experience in financial services or banking is a plus
