Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Geotechnical Engineer with at least 10 years of experience. If you are passionate about geotechnical engineering and eager to work on high-profile international projects, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
You will be an integral part of our Ground Engineering team, working on a variety of exciting projects and collaborating with experts from around the world.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead geotechnical investigations and assessments for diverse projects.
- Lead and organize geotechnical work for team members and guide them through complex tasks.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Process geotechnical data for ground interpretation, assessment, and report preparation.
- Develop geotechnical designs for excavations, retaining structures, earthworks, soil improvement, foundations, stability, and settlement analysis.
- Perform geotechnical calculations, prepare specifications, and create detailed drawings.
- Drive bids from the geotechnical discipline perspective, technical and budget parts.
- Collaborate with teams across different geographies to deliver outstanding results.
- Design and oversee tunnel projects, if necessary (TBM, NATM, construction methods, design, drawings, specifications).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, or Mining Engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in geotechnical engineering.
- Proficiency in geotechnical software such as PLAXIS 2D/3D, ROCSCIENCE, AutoCAD, Excel, and Presto.
- Familiarity with Spanish codes, AASHTO, ACI, ASTM, Eurocodes, SBC.
- International experience is highly valued.
- Advanced proficiency in Spanish and English (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Collaborate with teams across different geographies to deliver outstanding results.
