As our Construction Project Manager, you will play an absolutely critical role in our ambitious expansion plans for the coming year. This isn't just about managing projects; it's about being a key driver in our mission to make sports more accessible to everyone.

Real Estate Development & Construction

  • Plan, develop, and execute construction activities. You'll be our technical expert, turning our ambitious real estate concepts into tangible spaces. This involves everything from advising on potential new store openings to overseeing revamps, relocations, and expansions. You'll propose and apply technical solutions, negotiate with landlords, and lead all technical meetings to ensure our vision is realized.
  • Manage the entire project lifecycle. You'll have full ownership of project realization, from selecting and guiding tenders to negotiating and managing external partners. You will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities and deliverables meet our technical specifications, safety standards, and sustainability goals. You'll perform routine site inspections to monitor quality and compliance, manage project constraints (budget, timeline, quality), and oversee the final financial closeout. You'll also prepare and validate building permits and certification applications.
  • Coordinate due diligence. You'll lead technical due diligence processes, including soil, environmental, and structural studies, to ensure a solid foundation for every project.

Maintenance & Facility Management

  • Plan, develop, and lead maintenance activities. You'll apply your expertise to develop maintenance policies for our entire real estate portfolio. This includes selecting and managing external partners, negotiating maintenance agreements, and ensuring that our facilities are kept to the highest standards of safety, health, and security. You'll also provide essential technical support to our business development teams and respond to emergency situations.
  • Optimize operations. You will accompany the handover process with store leaders and regularly update our maintenance service lists to ensure quality.

Strategic Portfolio Improvement

  • Drive continuous improvement. You'll be a key player in optimizing our real estate portfolio. This includes conducting regular property audits, performing maintenance diagnostics, and defining multi-year investment plans for each location. You'll stay up-to-date with innovative technical designs and methods to identify opportunities for operational cost savings and a decrease in our CO2 emissions.
  • Collaborate and expand. You'll work with global peers to integrate best practices and improve our tools and processes. You'll also continuously conduct market studies to expand our list of potential construction company vendors.
  • Empower our teams. You will provide technical assistance and advice to local store operators, upskilling them on property technical operation efficiency. You'll measure the performance of maintenance decisions and complete annual asset reviews to ensure our portfolio is managed efficiently.

Experience & Expertise

  • Proven Experience: A strong track record of successfully managing and delivering large-scale real estate or construction projects from conception to completion.
  • Technical Acumen: A deep understanding of construction methods, materials, and processes. The ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and legal contracts.
  • Financial Management: Demonstrated experience in managing project budgets, negotiating contracts, and controlling costs to ensure financial goals are met.
  • Compliance Knowledge: Expertise in local building codes, statutory regulations, and international safety and security standards.

  • Strategic Planning: The ability to develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, with a keen eye for optimizing operations and long-term maintenance costs.

  • Negotiation & Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively lead technical meetings, negotiate with landlords and contractors, and brief stakeholders.
  • Leadership & Delegation: A natural leader who can inspire and guide internal and external partners, delegate tasks efficiently, and hold teams accountable for results.
  • Innovative: A curious and forward-thinking individual who stays up-to-date on industry trends and innovative technologies to drive operational savings and sustainability.
