The Salesforce Business Analyst Role and Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities this role is expected to effectively demonstrate are:

• Understand stakeholder needs and translate into digital solutions via Salesforce features.
• Work with stakeholders to identify, validate, and document business objectives through workshops, interviews and company research.
• Align requirements to features within the Salesforce platform
• Conduct Discovery and Design sessions with stakeholders
• Breaking down features into User Stories. Story Grooming and Writing.
• Interpret business requirements to identify technology and operational implications.
• Provide best practice knowledge on business processes
• Review, develop and execute plans to address user requirements, increase adoption and engagement on the Salesforce platform.
• Create business process flows, use cases, user stories, and test cases.
• Assist in change management activities.

Required Professional And Technical Expertise:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
• 5+ years experience in a Business Analyst or Consulting role
• 5+ years experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Account Engagement

• Salesforce Admin Certification

• At least three years focused on large technology or transformational projects involving multiple workstreams, business process re-engineering, custom development, integrations, data migrations, etc.
• Experience with agile development tools such as Copado, JIRA, etc.
• Strong consulting, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
• Experience with industry-specific or business-domain requirements and solutions
• Expert at facilitating discussions with large business and technical audiences
• Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of the SaaS business model
• Ability to work positively with a wide range of personalities and adapt to a rapidly changing environment
• Expert at facilitating discussions with large business and technical audiences
• Expert at documenting business processes and requirements
• Expert with waterfall, agile, or hybrid-agile development methodologies and tools
• Expert written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
• Collaborative and consultative work style

Preferred Professional And Technical Expertise:

• Hands-on experience with the Salesforce platform (e.g. Administrator, Community Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, etc.). Multiple Salesforce certifications preferred.
