The Role

Sygnia is seeking an experienced and client-focused Cyber Crisis Simulations Manager to design and deliver high-impact tabletop exercises for clients worldwide. In this role, you will oversee the full lifecycle of cyber crisis simulations, including scenario planning, exercise design, live facilitation, and after-action reporting. You will also work closely with client leadership teams to strengthen their preparedness for high-stakes incidents.

What You’Ll Do

• Lead and coordinate a team of cybersecurity consultants (matrix management) to deliver industry-defining crisis simulations.
• Design and facilitate highly customized simulation experiences tailored to technical teams, executives, and boards at varying maturity levels.
• Develop multi-exercise program strategies for clients seeking long-term preparedness planning.
• Manage multiple engagements in parallel, delivering both in-person and remote exercises.
• Ensure successful delivery of Sygnia’s tabletop methodology, meeting objectives, scope, budget, and timelines.
• Integrate real-world public incidents and Sygnia’s incident response experience into compelling scenarios that resonate with client environments.
• Produce clear, actionable after-action reports with prioritized recommendations for improving resilience.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience leading or facilitating cyber tabletop, war-game, or crisis simulation exercises.
• Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical events into business and board-level impact.
• Deep knowledge of crisis management frameworks, including communications, disclosure, and business continuity.
• 10+ years of cybersecurity expertise with strong understanding of fundamentals, incident response, and governance models.
• Familiarity with compliance and regulatory frameworks such as NIST, ISO, or sector-specific standards.
• Ability to engage confidently with technical and executive stakeholders, including boards and C-level leaders.
• Strong analytical, creative, and problem-solving skills, with resilience in complex and high-pressure environments.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality deliverables.
• Willingness to travel internationally (about 20%).

Bonus Points For

• Prior experience advising boards or C-level executives during cyber incidents.
• Experience building or scaling crisis simulation programs at a consultancy or enterprise.
• Strong familiarity with global disclosure regulations and cross-border data requirements.
