Summary: The Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for all inventory control activities for Captek across 3 sites (Cerritos, La Mirada, and Vista facilities). The overall goal is to ensure flawless executions in support of production and maintain inventory accuracy in the Captek Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system (Syspro) by collaborating with various departments to enforce consistent processes regarding inventory control.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ensures all inventory control employees are properly supervised, scheduled, trained, and executing daily procedures to support production.
• Works closely with Customer Service, Planning, Purchasing, Quality Assurance/Quality Control, Warehouse, and other internal stakeholders to coordinate information flow and prioritize operational activities.
• Travels to Vista and La Mirada facilities as needed to lead inventory control activities.
• Work with the Finance and Supply Chain to ensure that inventory counts in ERP system (Syspro) are maintained and reflect the true value of the financial asset.
• Work closely with QA regarding GMP audits to ensure warehouse compliance.
• Ensures compliance with inventory movement procedures.
• Leads Material Review Board (MRB) monthly meetings and conducts appropriate follow-up to ensure corresponding action.
• Analyze Syspro inventory reports weekly and reconcile discrepancies.
• Monitors aging inventory and develops processes to reduce expired raw material inventory.
• Maintains cycle counting program in accordance with established SOPs.
• Prepares inventory reports for management as required.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by Manager
• Adherence to HACCP and Food Defense.
Qualifications:
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• General proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Ability to prioritize work and multi-task.
• Understanding of ERP systems (Syspro) preferred
• Must have Valid Driver's License and Reliable Transportation
Education/Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of work experience.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience in inventory control.
