Senior Technician (Rigger) - Cement Industry

Successful candidate will be responsible for various plant advanced rigging operations, erection and dismantling of major equipment and loads with maximum safety protocols.

Undertaking of major material handling activities in the plant during the routine or scheduled maintenance of the plant in accordance with HSSE rules.

Responsible for the erection and installation of plant major equipment such as fans, motors, etc

Responsible for the upkeep and running maintenance of the lifting tools and tackles to ensure their reliability and safe working

Responsible for training of riggers in various areas of rigging operations

Assisting the sectional or shift engineers in carrying out plant maintenance.

Requirements

• TRADE TEST II + 20 YEARS RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
• TRADE TEST I + 12 YEARS RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
• OND IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING + 8 YEAR EXPERIENCE IN RIGGING
• ADVANCED RIGGING SKILLS
• PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN PLANT ERECTION AND  INSTALLATION WORKS IS AN ADDED ADVANTAGE
• ADVANCED SLINGING OPERATIONS
