Supervisor Infection Prevention for Providence Oregon Shared Services at Medford Medical Center in Medford, OR.

Full-Time/Day Shift

The Infection Prevention Supervisor is considered an Infection Prevention expert. The Infection Prevention Supervisor is the direct supervisor for infection preventionists and responsible for the day-to-day operations of the assigned infection prevention program.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Lab Sciences, Microbiology, Nursing, Public Health, or related health sciences field.
  • Upon hire: National Certified Inpatient Coder. 
  • 4 years Quality and patient safety or other directly related healthcare experience.
  • 2 years Infection Prevention or Epidemiology.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree Lab Sciences, Microbiology, Nursing, Public Health, or related health sciences field.
  • 5 years Epidemiology or Infection Prevention experience.
  • 2 years Healthcare experience.
  • 2 years  Leadership experience (e.g., experience leading Infection Prevention activities, projects or programs).
