The Global Learning & Knowledge Management team (GLKM) drives learning transformation and knowledge management across multiple lines of business within the Global Servicing organization (GS), which includes partnering with our internal recruiting team to select and train new colleagues and ongoing training for more tenured colleagues. GLKM is responsible for colleague performance, engagement and development through the creation, procurement and deployment of robust, dynamic, and customized learning solutions, programs and tools that enable GSG business strategic priorities and equip newly hired and tenured customer care professionals, specialists and people leaders with the skills and knowledge to provide the world’s best customer experience every day. GLKM supports over 30,000 Global Servicing colleagues across the globe in 9 languages and in 20+ markets.

The GLKM Leadership Development Design Team partners with our Global Servicing business units to define learning strategies, identify learning needs, build robust leadership development programs, and deliver next generation learning to service delivery leaders and team leaders. The Design Team’s work is pivotal in driving continuous improvement in the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of training by providing accessible, high-quality workshops materials and resources aimed at enhancing skills and fostering ongoing professional development.

This is a temporary work assignment and the duration is 12 months. 

The successful candidate will have a passion for and experience in developing leadership development learning content, working closely with their team and subject matter experts (SMEs) to create instructor-led face-to-face sessions, live virtual training, and online/digital learning solutions.

The successful candidate will encompass the following responsibilities but not limited to:

  • Be responsible for developing highly engaging and interactive learning solutions.
  • Apply advanced adult learning theories to practical, application-based learning design and development, with the ability to convert strategies into effective and engaging learning experiences.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment to design, develop, and build blended learning experiences.
  • Partner and collaborate with other learning professionals and business partners to deliver a globally consistent learning experience.
  • Develop comprehensive measurement strategies for all learning solutions to demonstrate business impact and effectiveness.
  • Communicate effectively in visual, oral and written form.
  • Apply new technology skills/techniques to enhance instructional design practices.
  • Serve as a leader with vision in instructional design and innovation.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Instructional Designer within a global, matrixed organization.
  • Demonstrated expertise in learning design and development, including the creation of instructor-led training, storyboards, audio scripts, videos/animations, learning scenarios/activities, web-based training, learning assessments, using sound instructional design theory.
  • Strong project management experience with a highly organized approach.
  • Experience using rapid, agile development approaches in the design and development of blended learning solutions.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with subject matter experts, global partners, and leaders in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines and high business impact.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design software and multimedia tools, including video production (e.g., Articulate Storyline 360, Vyond, Adobe Premiere/After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
  • These software skills must have been applied in a recent role, with the ability to demonstrate features and usage of the tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project.
  • Need flexibility to work outside of local business hours is required to support global markets.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • An education degree or certification in Performance Technology, Instructional Design, Adult Learning or Teaching is strongly preferred.

Minimum Qualifications

 

AXP employees will maintain their current salary and may be eligible for a completion bonus at the end of the temporary work assignment. The completion bonus is up to 5% base salary for laterals in band and up to 10% base salary for stretch assignments. The completion bonus amount will also be pro-rated to reflect the length of the assignment.
