The Opportunity:

Make your mark while you grow your career! We are currently seeking an Intermediate Property Accountant to become a key member of our high-performing Production Accounting team. In this role, you’ll take ownership of the full property accounting cycle, including volumetric submissions, revenue and royalty analysis, and ensuring compliance with government regulations. This is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate your value and contribute to one of the premier oil and gas producers in the world.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Gather and analyze production data and confirm pipeline deliveries
  • Upload and enter well tests, production, inventories and sales into PAS
  • Prepare oil, NGL, and gas sales splits and submit Volumetric, SAF/OAF, APMC and other required reports to Petrinex and communicate with partners
  • Book and analyze revenues, royalties, processing charges, trucking charges and accounts receivable
  • Review and provide comments on internal control and exception reports and resolve JVB queries in a timely manner
  • Work with the field to meet government compliance requirements on EPAP & CAI and resolve Crown discrepancies as they relate to the property

What You Bring to the Role:

  • Degree in Accounting or Business Administration
  • CAPPA (Canadian Association of Petroleum Accounting) Certification
  • 5+ years of production and revenue accounting experience
  • Self-starter with strong analytical, account reconciliation, problem solving, organizational and Excel Skills
