This is a remote position.

Schedule: 
  • 40 hours/week
  • Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm with 30 minutes unpaid break

The Payroll Administrator (Assistant) will provide essential support in payroll data management, employee onboarding, and compliance reporting. This role requires proficiency with ADP, Excel, and other payroll platforms. The assistant will assist with payroll-related data entry, analysis, censuses, workers’ compensation audits, and administrative requests, collaborating closely with HR and accounting teams. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and foundational payroll knowledge to support an established and growing team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with payroll data entry, data analysis, and payroll-related reporting.
  • Support payroll processes across multiple platforms, with heavy use of ADP and other payroll systems.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and assist with onboarding new hires, ensuring all forms (I-9, W-4, state tax forms, etc.) are completed and filed correctly.
  • Prepare and support censuses, workers’ compensation audits, and other compliance-related reporting.
  • Provide administrative assistance with payroll-related requests, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
  • Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to ensure proper documentation and smooth payroll operations.
  • Previous experience with ADP and exposure to multiple payroll platforms.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (formulas, pivot tables, reporting).
  • Basic knowledge of QuickBooks (QBs) and general payroll processes.
  • Understanding of employee onboarding procedures and required compliance forms.
  • Excellent attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
  • Prepare and support censuses, workers’ compensation audits, and other compliance-related reporting.
  • Provide administrative assistance with payroll-related requests, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
