Key Responsibilities (What You’re Doing)Write, update, and edit in-depth gift guides and product reviews across a wide range of categories, aligned with editorial and commerce goals.
Own Good Housekeeping’s day-to-day gift guide strategy, working with internal and freelance writers to grow and optimize content.
Collaborate with the Good Housekeeping Institute to ensure all content reflects our rigorous testing standards and consumer-first approach.
Partner with commerce, SEO, and editorial teams to drive performance and revenue across platforms.
Innovate and experiment with new formats and channels, including newsletters, social, and Discover, to expand reach and engagement.
Maintain high editorial standards, ensuring content is accurate, unbiased, and up-to-date.
Monitor performance metrics and proactively identify opportunities to improve content visibility and impact.
Step in to support adjacent editorial areas as needed, demonstrating flexibility and team spirit.
Work hybrid from our NYC office three days per week.
Qualifications (What We’re Looking For)At least 5 years of experience in digital editorial roles, ideally with a focus on consumer products, commerce content, or seasonal gift guides.
Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a sharp eye for detail, voice, and accuracy.
Strong understanding of SEO, affiliate commerce, and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Looker).
Experience managing freelancers and coordinating cross-functional teams.
Collaborative, organized, and able to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Enthusiastic about testing, reviewing, and recommending products people love and trust.
Comfortable working in a hybrid setup; this role requires three days per week in our NYC office.

The base salary for this role is between $74,000 - $85,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
