Software Manager, Software Engineering
We are seeking a skilled Software Development Manager and Architect to join our team. This role will lead and grow our global development teams. This role will oversee the development leads supporting each of our service lines, providing the standards, structure, and leadership needed to unify delivery across geographies. The right candidate will bring strong technical depth and proven success in scaling teams. They will establish and enforce engineering standards, ensure strict adherence to SDLC practices, and foster a culture of accountability and innovation. This leader will also challenge teams to leverage AI and emerging technologies, ensuring that our engineering organization remains forward-looking and capable of meeting the fast-paced and evolving needs of the business.
The day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lead, manage, and scale global software engineering teams across India, Manila, UK, and U.S. time zones.
- Oversee the development leads for each service line, ensuring alignment of priorities and consistency of standards.
- Recruit and build high-performing teams, scaling with the growth of the business.
- Define, implement, and enforce engineering standards across tools, processes, and technologies.
- Ensure adherence to modern SDLC practices, with a focus on quality, security, and efficiency.
- Challenge teams to adopt the latest AI tools and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
- Collaborate closely with U.S. stakeholders and service lines to ensure delivery priorities meet business needs.
- Establish performance metrics and reporting to monitor productivity, quality, and compliance.
- Mentor and coach development leads, engineers; thereby building a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience, including more than 5 years in leadership/management roles.
- Proven success recruiting, scaling, and managing distributed/global engineering teams.
- Strong technical expertise across modern development stacks, tools, and practices.
- Experience implementing and enforcing engineering standards at scale.
- Demonstrated ability to challenge teams and set the tone for adopting AI and other emerging technologies.
- Strong track record of working directly with U.S. stakeholders and aligning delivery with business priorities.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic, and global environment.
