We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) part of the US Army’s Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and Bell's High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next generation stop-fold tilt-rotor. 

This position will be based at one of our locations in the Dallas -Fort Worth metroplex area and may support multiple business functions including union, non-union and global employees.

Human Resources Business Partner

Bring your experience and ideas to provide strategic and operational support in partnership with business unit leadership, plan and implements human resources initiatives designed to maximize organizational effectiveness through talent management processes and job/organization design. You'll have the opportunity to align HR initiatives with strategic business objectives and coordinate with other HR functions to execute objectives consistent with Corporate Business and HR strategy, policies, and practices. 

What you'll be doing as a HR Business Partner

  • Be a visible human resources partner to all levels of employees through consistent interaction, meeting with employees and business/union leaders, and proactively building a relationship of trust with them.
  • Fosters a positive and engaging workplace culture by effectively facilitating and resolving employee relations matters.  Acts as primary contact for employee for employee/labor relations issues.
  • Collaborates with client groups to manage employee job performance by coaching, counseling, and advising on performance management processes and policies.
  • Develops and delivers presentations to leaders and employees regarding HR policies and practices.
  • Collaborates with the other HR teams to ensure we are supporting the business effectively.
  • Acts as advocate and advisor to employees and leaders regarding career and leadership development initiatives.
  • Initiates, coordinates, and enforces project, operational, and bargained/non-bargained policies and procedures Contributes to team effort by proactively participating in and helping accomplish team objectives.
  • Administers compensation processes for the designated function(s) within guidelines and/or partners with the Compensation team on recommendation of alternatives to meet business requirements.
  • Helps drive an environment of engagement, shared success and continuous improvement.
  • Ensures compliance with employment laws and regulations, Textron/Bell policies, and collective bargaining agreements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What you need to be successful

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or other related field from an accredited college.
  • Minimum 2 years’ human resources experience.
